The International Children’s Games (ICG) is the largest multi-sport youth games in the world and is a recognised member of the International Olympic Committee. Approximately 1,500 athletes between 12 and 15 years of age, and their coaches, participate in this prestigious event each year.

Celebrate the 100 day countdown to the Lake Macquarie International Children’s Games! Follow the torch relay from Warners Bay Lions Park, around Lake Macquarie, to Speers Point Park, where there will be an official ceremony to welcome the torch. There will also be free entertainment after the ceremony, so bring the whole family and enjoy the activities on offer! The torch relay starts at Warners Bay Lions Park at 10am on Thursday August 28th, finishing at Speers Point Park at 11am, with free entertainment from 11.30am.
